• Re Lucy Mangan’s two-star review for The Hack (TV review, 24 September), I’ve always loved her writing, from her Toryboy columns to her more recent TV criticisms, which, until now, have almost always concurred with my own views. But I was gripped by the first instalment of The Hack and will be watching it to the end. Sorry, Lucy.
