REVEALED: Man forced to pay bailiffs 500 fine after council misread his number plate - The Real Truth

A furious motorist has revealed how his local council set the bailiffs on him, after mis-reading his license plate.

Steven Ward, 41, says he was woken up by bailiffs from enforcement firm CDER Group threatening to take his and his girlfriend’s cars off their driveway in payment for a fine which had been issued in error.

Embarrassed Steven was forced to pay up to stop them taking his possessions, despite writing to the council and CDER multiple times with proof they misread an W on his license plate for a M.
