A sales manager has been issued with a £100 parking penalty after turning around outside a McDonald's. Kevin Bennett, 53, turned his car around on hatched yellow markings on a service road outside the restaurant - and was issued with a fine for illegal parking.
Kevin has called in lawyers as he is determined to overturn his fine. Kevin said: “This is a retail park. Every man and his dog parks there. I turned into the area after exiting the drive-thru and then parked opposite Halfords for five minutes, just minding my own business.
“I bit into my double sausage and egg McMuffin and then got a call to say my dad was ready to be picked up and I had to go off again.
