A man has been sentenced to life in prison for plotting to kidnap, rape, and murder Holly Willoughby, a prominent television personality in the UK. The sentencing took place at Chelmsford Crown Court, where the judge informed the defendant that he would have to serve a minimum of 16 years before being eligible for parole.
The defendant, 37, was found guilty by a jury following an eight-day trial. The judge described the defendant's actions as an unhealthy sexual obsession with Willoughby that escalated into a detailed plan to harm her and her family.
