Cristiano Ronaldo is set to miss Manchester United's final game before the World Cup.

The forward was absent for United's Carabao Cup victory over Aston Villa on Thursday through illness, and did not board the train that took his teammates down to London on Saturday afternoon ahead of Sunday's Premier League meeting with Fulham.

Several United players drove to Manchester Airport before travelling by bus to Stockport train station to meet up with the rest of the team. Some United players were heckled by a Manchester City fan while making their way into the station.
