Temperatures will continue to rise throughout the Easter period, according to forecasters.

This weekend, Manchester will be hotter than Ibiza and Majorca. The usual temperature for Manchester around this time of years is around 11C.

But forecasters are predicting that temperatures will reach as high as 16.5C in Manchester. It means that the North West will be hotter than many popular sun-bathing destinations around Europe.
