NEW DELHI: Australia's Matthew Wade announced on Friday that he will not play in the Sheffield Shield final this coming Saturday, but he will still be available for selection in white-ball competitions.

Wade's career began in 2012, and this Sheffield Shield final between Tasmania and Western Australia, which starts in Hobart on March 21, will be his last red-ball contest.
