MYSTERIOUS: Mercedes dominates bathurst 12 hour finish - What They Never Told You

Jules Gounon and SunEnergy1 Racing have led a Mercedes podium sweep of the Bathurst 12 Hour. (AAP)

Supercars champion Shane Van Gisbergen, rookie teammate Broc Feeney and Prince Jefri Ibrahim have finished third to secure Mercedes a clean sweep of the Bathurst 12 Hour endurance race.

The Red Bull Ampol Racing pair and the son of the Sultan of Johor, in a Triple Eight Race Engineering entry, secured the first 1-2-3 finish for a single brand on the event's overall podium, with France's Jules Gounon and SunEnergy1 Racing taking out the race at Mount Panorama.
