Former Liverpool striker Michale Owen has made a “staggering” claim about Divock Origi.

The Reds claimed a 2-0 win over Everton in their Premier League clash on Sunday, thanks to second half goals from Andy Robertson and Origi. It was the sixth time this season that the Belgium international has found the back of the net, despite only making just 16 appearances.

Across those outings, only five of them have come as a starter. In fact, Origi has been entirely left out of Jurgen Klopp’s matchday squad for 18 of Liverpool’s 33 league matches this term.
