Ashley Miller made Michigan State softball history on Sunday, throwing the third perfect game in program history. The Spartans came into a Sunday match-up with the Akron Zips looking to end the weekend with a win after a 2-2 start to the season down in Florida. Miller made sure the Spartans would go home happy, throwing a stellar performance, and retiring 21 straight batters, 14 of them strikeouts, to complete the perfect game in a 6-0 win.
Ashley Miller has done it! The third PERFECT GAME in program history and the first since 2007. It's the first seven inning perfect game in program history! #GoGreen pic.twitter.com/UYk54TxTUe
