One militant was killed in an encounter with security forces in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on June 27, 2023
“One local terrorist neutralised [in Kulgam]. Identification and affiliation are being ascertained,” the Jammu and Kashmir police said.
The militant was trapped during an anti-militancy operation of security forces, including the Army, on June 26 night.
“Incriminating materials including arms and ammunition have been recovered. A search is going on,” the police said.
A policeman was also injured in the initial exchange of gunfire, the police said.
