BENGALURU: A 17-year-old boy was detained for allegedly stealing autorickshaws in the city and Kengeri police claimed to have recovered six three-wheelers worth Rs 15 lakh based information provided by him.
Police received a complaint from a driver that miscreants had stolen his vehicle on March 12. A team headed by inspector Vasanth C found it was stolen by a minor, who was picked up for questioning. He allegedly stole the vehicles from Kengeri, Kamakshipalya, Cottonpet, Chandra Layout, Kumbalgodu and Seshadripuram. He has been sent to a children’s home. tnn
