Ante Milicic can't help but have a soft spot for the Matildas, but he'll be treating them as the enemy when he leads China into battle in Tuesday night's Women's Asian Cup semi-final in Perth.

Milicic coached the Matildas for just under 18 months from 2019 to 2020, including at the 2019 World Cup when he led them to the round of 16.
