Over 7,000 people have complained about inaccurate medical records on the Mor Prom app, prompting the Public Health Ministry to pledge legal action against anyone deliberately entering false data.
The ministry also vowed to ensure affected people do not lose healthcare, insurance or other benefits because of erroneous records.
Public Health Minister Pattana Promphat said on Tuesday that any incorrect information would be corrected after verification, adding that authorities could determine whether patients had actually received treatment before records were used to confirm entitlements.
