Residents of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, have been facing ongoing flooding issues caused by Tropical Storm Debby. Officials in the town have informed the public that the persistent flooding is a result of the drainage systems being at full capacity.
The heavy rainfall from the storm has exacerbated the flooding situation in the area. Despite investigating numerous calls, officials have determined that most problems are not due to clogged drains. Instead, the main issue lies in the fact that there is no space for the water to drain.
