Authorities in Laurel County, Kentucky, have reported an active shooter situation near Interstate 75, resulting in multiple individuals being shot. The incident has led to the closure of I-75 at mile marker/Exit 49 and U.S. 25, located nine miles north of London.
The Laurel County Sheriff's office issued a statement on Facebook alerting the public about the ongoing situation. They advised that the interstate has been shut down due to the active shooter, and several people have been injured in the vicinity of I-75.
