A mum has issued a warning to others after her sons' sunburn left them in 'absolute agony' and turned their getaway to Gran Canaria into a 'holiday disaster'.
Carlien Pretorious had only been on the Spanish Island for a few hours when she noticed that her boys Joshua, 11, and Luke, nine, had already started to burn last week.
Despite covering them in SPF (sun protection factor) 50 and both wearing t-shirts, Joshua's burns quickly became more severe, with Carlien posting pictures of his damaged skin to social media.
