A man behind bars over the murder of a woman abducted from her suburban home in front of her children before being found shot dead in a torched car is believed to be a "very close associate" of her de facto husband.
Anh Nguyen, 29, faced court on Friday charged with murder and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm over the attack police believe is linked to a "major player" in organised crime.
