Police in Munich are currently investigating a peculiar incident that has left residents and authorities puzzled. More than 1,000 stickers have been discovered on gravestones and wooden crosses at three cemeteries in the German city, sparking a mystery as to their origin and purpose.
The stickers, measuring 5x3.5 centimeters (1.95x1.2 inches), feature a QR code that, when scanned, reveals the name of the deceased individual buried in the grave and the location within the cemetery. However, beyond this information, the stickers provide no further details.
