August Nymex natural gas (NGQ24) on Thursday closed down by -0.060 (-2.19%).

July nat-gas prices Thursday added to Wednesday's losses and posted a 3-week low. Nat-gas prices fell on the outlook for cooler US temperatures that will curb nat-gas demand from electricity providers to run air-conditioning. Forecaster Maxar Technologies said Thursday that weather forecasts have shifted cooler for the Midwest for July 2-6.
