Newcastle have confirmed Chris Wood has left to join Nottingham Forest on a loan deal for the rest of the season.
The striker has arrived at the City Ground on an initial loan basis with a conditional obligation to become a permanent move until the summer of 2024.
After spending just over a year at St James' Park, the Magpies have shown their gratitude towards Wood. In a statement confirming his departure, it read: "Thank you for the vital role you have played over the past 12 months, Chris Wood. Best of luck for the future."
