IRVING, Texas—In a major leadership change, Nexstar Media Group has announced that veteran Fox Corp. executive Michael Biard has been appointed president and chief operating  officer. 

Biard will report to Nexstar’s chairman and CEO Perry Sook, and assume  his new duties on August 21, 2023 with an employment contract that extends through August 2027, the company said.
