The world order established after World War II is no longer fit for purpose, the prime minister claims.

In a major foreign policy speech to the Atlantic Council in New York on Thursday, Australian time, Anthony Albanese said many of the institutions that were necessary post-1945 were not enough to meet present-day challenges.
