Nottingham Forest have sealed the deadline day signing of defender Felipe.
The 33-year-old centre-back has put pen to paper with the Reds after completing a move from Atletico Madrid in a deal said to be worth roughly £2m. He follows Gustavo Scarpa, Danilo and Chris Wood in linking up with Steve Cooper’s squad during the January window.
Defensive reinforcements have been on Forest’s shopping list all month as they prepare for the second half of the season. The club fought off competition from elsewhere to secure Felipe's signature, and he made the trip to the Nigel Doughty Academy earlier today to complete the formalities on a deal which will keep him at the City Ground until 2024.
