NEW DELHI: Delhi high court on Thursday directed the local authorities to take action within two weeks for the removal of encroachment from the Okhla Industrial area while asking the Delhi Police to ensure that sufficient force is provided for the same.
The order was passed by a bench of Acting Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Navin Chawla on a suo motu PIL initiated by the high court over the issue of illegal construction and encroachment on public land in the Okhla Industrial area.
