In a mix-up that sounds like something out of a holiday comedy, Spirit Airlines has found itself in hot water after a six-year-old boy was put on the wrong flight just before Christmas. Casper, a sprightly young lad, was meant to journey from his hometown in Fort Myers, Florida, to visit his beloved grandmother in the same state. However, much to his family's dismay, he found himself embarking on an unplanned detour to Orlando instead.
As you can imagine, Casper's grandmother was in quite the state of panic when his flight to Fort Myers arrived and he was nowhere to be found. Questions swirled: Had he been permitted to leave the aircraft alone? Was there a mix-up with paperwork? Did the flight attendant not realize she was sending him to the wrong destination?
