A brand new JD Wetherspoon pub will not open this month, as was originally planned.
The Prense Well, at 1-5 The Mount in Heswall, Wirral, was supposed to open on May 17, but today JD Wetherspoon confirmed this opening date has been delayed.
A spokesperson for the pub chain said there was not a “major reason” for the delay and that opening dates are always subject to change. The spokesperson said the Heswall pub is a big project and sometimes such projects get delayed by a few weeks.
