Well, it was going to come sooner or later.
After a pretty clean preseason for Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Bryce Young, where he didn’t commit a single turnover, he threw the first interception of his NFL career in his very first NFL regular-season start. The pick, courtesy of new Atlanta Falcons safety Jessie Bates, came deep in Panthers territory on a pass intended for tight end Hayden Hurst.

It’s really wild to see the discussion of the Bryce pick here. Because the announcer (incorrectly) says he was staring down the receiver everyone parrots it as “analysis.”
Young didn’t stare down anyone lol. He went through full progression and just misjudged Bates’ depth
