Airline passengers were left waiting on a plane at Alice Springs Airport for more than six hours after a flight from Bangkok to Melbourne was diverted due to a medical emergency.
The Jetstar plane landed around 7.20am CST on Sunday, and then stayed grounded after an electrical fault was picked up.
"Unfortunately while the aircraft was on the ground in Alice Springs, an electrical issue was detected, requiring a replacement part to be sourced from Sydney," a Jetstar statement said on Sunday night.
