Paul Mescal has set the record straight after comments suggested he was planning to take a lengthy break from acting.

The Irish actor, 29, prompted speculation after telling the Guardian audiences would “get a break” from seeing him over the next two years. The comment quickly fuelled claims Mescal was considering a hiatus from acting until 2028, something he has now firmly denied.
