The International Cricket Council has given full marks to the Perth wicket used in the rapid-fire Ashes opener in a further condemnation of England's woeful batting performance.

The first of five Test matches ended in an eight-wicket victory for Australia inside two days, with 19 wickets falling on day one alone and only one batter, second-innings centurion Travis Head, making more than 60.
