Piers Morgan has addressed rumours he could be the next This Morning host replacing Phillip Schofield after his inevitable exit from the ITV show. However, the 58-year-old has admitted there is one problem holding him back reports the Mirror.
The former GMB star has previously spoken of his friendship with Holly Willoughby, defending her- and Phil- during Queuegate, so fans have speculated his long-awaited ITV comeback. Piers was famously pushed out of ITV in 2021, after he made a series of controversial comments about Meghan Markle.
Taking to Twitter today, Piers shared a photo of himself and Holly and tweeted: "Thanks to everyone suggesting I might replace Philip Schofield at This Morning in a Lazarus-like comeback to ITV. Unfortunately, there’s just one problem: I still don’t believe a single word Meghan Markle says!"
