Laurie Daley has endorsed Matt King to be his replacement with the NSW State of Origin side after ending weeks of speculation by stepping down as Blues coach.

Daley confirmed on Monday he would not seek a new deal with the NSWRL after guiding the Blues to a 2-1 series victory with a win in last month's game three decider in Brisbane.
