UNCOVERED: Police officer served misconduct notice after three missing people found dead in car | History Defined

A police officer has been served with a misconduct notice over the three young people who died in the Cardiff crash.

Police watchdog the IOPC has confirmed it is investigating an officer involved in the search for Eve Smith, Darcy Ross and Rafel Jeanne.

Ms Smith and Ms Ross, both 21, both of Newport, and Mr Jeanne, 24, of Cardiff, were found dead on March 6 after the Volkswagen Tiguan they had been travelling in was discovered having crashed off the A48 near St Mellons.
