BIZARRE: Pop mart transforms pattaya beach | Mind Blowing Facts

Pattaya has been transformed into the world's first beachfront art toy destination, with four giant Crybaby balloons on display alongside two adorable figures of Molly and Skullpanda, until Aug 2.

A collaboration between Pop Mart and Central Pattaya, with support by the TAT and Pattaya City, the showcase is part of the "Pop On The Beach" campaign to promote pop culture economy and tourism growth in Chon Buri's beach town.

Measuring 8m in height and 12m in length each, the massive character balloons are a world-class super IP crafted by a Thai artist under the concept of "Crybaby Cry Me An Ocean Series" to convey stories of healing the heart by "keeping emotions and feelings in a private sea".

Joining to help make Pattaya beach the world's first experiential photo landmark are two large figures of Molly, by a Hong Kong artist, and Skullpanda by a Chinese artist, Pop Mart's top-tier art toy characters.

Besides the beachfront installation, the campaign marks the opening of the Pop Mart official store on the 1st floor of Central Pattaya, featuring leading collections and exclusive products. They include the popular blind boxes, plushies, a high-end Mega Collection, accessories and exclusive collections from famous characters such as Crybaby, Labubu, Molly, Skullpanda, Dimoo, Twinkle and Hirono.

Also, located right in front of the store is the exclusive concept space featuring "The Monsters Hair Salon Series", the first of its kind in the world.
