March NY world sugar #11 (SBH26) on Tuesday closed up +0.22 (+1.49%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH26) closed up +8.30 (+1.97%).

Sugar prices rose on Tuesday amid bullish news from the European Union.  European sugar producers are expected to cut sugar acreage by 10% for the 2026-27 season, following a 10% drop in sugar beet acreage for the current 2025-26 season, according to a representative from the annual cane and beet growers conference in London.
