PUBG Mobile Light has been announced as a new, smaller way to play the original PUBG Mobile, with pre-registration opening Aug. 25 on Android and iOS ahead of a release later in 2026. Unlike the PUBG Mobile Lite that already exists, Light isn’t a separate version built around smaller maps and reduced player counts — it keeps you inside the main PUBG Mobile ecosystem while cutting the initial download and letting you pick which additional resources actually get installed.
