PUNE: The Kondhwa police arrested an unemployed youth (20) on Monday evening and are searching for his five accomplices on the charge of damaging three motorcycles and five four-wheelers at Shivnerinagar around 10pm on Saturday.
Shivnerinagar resident Malhari Haribhau Pawar (52), a casual worker by profession, had lodged a complaint with the police on Sunday. “The six men went to the area and, after dappling unattended several vehicles in the Shivneri area leading to the hillside, damaged the eight vehicles with sticks and sharp weapons,” said senior inspector Sardar Patil of the Kondhwa police.
