JAMSHEDPUR: Puri Shankaracharya Swami Nischalananda Saraswati, who is in Jamshedpur to take part in a two-day Hindu religious function, which began on Sunday, has condemned the recent violence saying the administration could have handled the situation better.
“Such incidents should not have happened. The administration should have been more vigilant and alert to handle such a crisis,” he said on Monday.
He stressed that human life is very precious and must be protected at all cost. He expressed concern over the growing intolerance, which is leading to a lot of friction. He advised that one has to shun such behaviour. Boundaries have to be set and they cannot be crossed, he added.
