December arabica coffee (KCZ24) Friday closed down -10.90 (-4.17%), and November ICE robusta coffee (RMX24) closed down -189 (-3.60%).

Coffee prices Friday closed sharply lower as forecasts for rain in Brazil sparked fund liquidation of coffee futures.  The two-week Global Forecast System model shows rain moving into Brazil's coffee-growing regions next week during the all-important flowering period for Brazil's coffee trees.
