THE TRUTH ABOUT: Rangers player ratings as ibrox pair catch eye in draw against celtic - Caught on Camera

Jack Butland 6

One of his quietest afternoons in goal for Rangers. Only called into action for a few comfortable stops.

James Tavernier 7

Recalled to the starting XI for leadership and experience. Delivered for Russell Martin in a strong performance, setting standards for the Ibrox club. Excellent deliveries into the box, but no takers.

Nasser Djiga 6

A couple of moments of miscommunication with Butland caused some scares, but he did enough to avoid any defensive catastrophe. Booked.

John Souttar 7

Unfortunate to be just offside with a powerful headed goal ruled out. Strong in the challenge and confident to stride out of defence at every opportunity.

Jayden Meghoma 6

A decent showing from the Brentford loanee. Defended well against Nygren and then Forrest. Quiet for spells with a lot of action on the opposite flank.

Connor Barron 7

Made his mark in his first start of the season. Clattered Tierney in a strong but fair challenge in the early stages. Tenacious in midfield throughout.

Mohamed Diomande 6

In a scrap with Engels all afternoon. Did the less glamorous side of the game for Rangers. Too often, more embroiled in off-the-ball nonsense than impactful play. Booked.

Mikey Moore 6

Busy but not overly effective. A good battle with Anthony Ralston, but Spurs wonderkid didn't show his quality in key moments. Booked.

Thelo Aasgaard 6

Man-marked Callum McGregor to good effect, but didn't do enough in possession, too sloppy with forward passes. Forced off with an injury knock.

Djeidi Gassama 6

Up and down the right wing, but only really got the better of Tierney on one occasion when cross was well cut out as it was fired across goal.

Bojan Miovski 7

A superb debut. Introduced himself as the obvious starting No. 9 for Rangers this season. Panicked the Celtic defence but didn't have a clear sight of goal.

Cyriel Dessers (for Miovski, 73) 3

Very limited involvement. Hardly touched the ball.

Oliver Antman (for Moore, 73) 2

A quiet cameo, didn't threaten Celtic.

Nedim Bajrami (for Aasgaard, 75) 2

Looked off the pace. Wayward passing in final third.

Findlay Curtis (for Gassama, 81) 3

Another big occasion ticked off for the talented teenager.

Joe Rothwell (for Barron, 81) 2

Slotted in midfield without issue or incident.
