Democratic Rep. Veronica Escobar, along with Biden campaign co-chair, emphasized the importance of a policy-focused debate to highlight the differences between President Joe Biden's vision for America and Donald Trump's. Escobar expressed the need for the American people to understand the competing visions for the country, contrasting Biden's inclusive vision with what she described as Trump's darker perspective.
Escobar criticized Trump, labeling him as 'unhinged' and stating that fact-checking him in real-time is nearly impossible due to his tendency to lie continuously. She expressed confidence in Biden's ability to counter Trump's rhetoric, citing his past performances in handling such situations.
