Brisbane's A-League Men squad has been boosted by the loan signing of Japanese striker Ryo Wada. (AAP)

Brisbane Roar have returned to Japan in their quest for more A-League Men goals, signing striker Ryo Wada on loan from top-flight side Sagan Tosu.

Wada, 26, joins for the remainder of the ALM campaign and is hoping to emulate the feats of young gun Riku Danzaki with the Roar.
