A health watchdog has issued its first national public warning amid fears a suspended dentist facing a criminal trial may still be carrying out dental work.

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency on Monday issued the public warning for dentist Peter Terzi, also known as Peter Taylor, who it "believes poses a serious risk to persons because of his conduct".
