A pilot poverty alleviation programme launched in Roi Et that will be expanded nationwide if successful.
Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Minister Yodchanan Wongsawat said the programme uses science, research and innovation to help low-income households increase their incomes and improve their living standards.
The programme is developed using Provincial Poverty Alleviation Platform (PPAP), which uses local universities as the hub for coordinating assistance with provincial authorities, local administrations and civil society groups.
