PANAJI: On Monday, for the first time since the pandemic, schools across Goa will reopen in the physical mode for the new academic year 2022-23 in full-fledged manner with minimal restrictions. Most institutes said that they will make wearing of masks and sanitisation of hands mandatory for students. But there will be no restrictions, as imposed over the last two years, like staggered entry timings and restricted class hours etc.
“Some Covid protocols like use of masks and sanitisers will be followed, while rest of the operations will go on as is done normally. We will open all classes from kindergarten to high school from Day 1,” said Prashant Naik of Shree Nirakar Education Society, which runs five schools in Canacona taluka, with a combined strength of around 1,000 students.
