BIZARRE: Schools to close for queen s funeral - What They Never Told You

Renfrewshire Queen Elizabeth II East Renfrewshire Council Renfrewshire Council East Renfrewshire

Schools will be closed on Monday as “a mark of respect” on the day of the Queen’s funeral.

Both Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire councils have confirmed schools, nurseries and family centres will shut on September 19, which is a bank holiday.

It comes after the UK’s longest serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away on Thursday.
