Scott Sinclair believes his contract situation will be resolved shortly as the winger enters the final fortnight of his deal with Bristol Rovers.
Sinclair made his return to the Gas in October on a short-term agreement until January and since November manager Joey Barton has been open and honest in wanting to extend the 33-year-old’s terms until the end of the season, if not beyond.
Since arriving and making his belated full debut, 17 years after first emerging onto the pitch for the Gas as a 15-year-old, Sinclair has made 13 appearances in league and cup and scored three times, including the third goal in the 4-3 defeat to Exeter City on Thursday, and provided one assist.
