AUGUSTA: This may have been one of the coolest strolls at the Augusta National. From Day 1 at the 88th Masters, Scottie Scheffler seemed destined to win a second Green Jacket, even as his wife Meredith was ready to deliver their first child. Not for a second did the American seem unsure that he would leave the Augusta National were she to go into labour. And not for a minute did he look uncertain on the way to his second Masters in three years. It was almost as sure as day follows night.
Scheffler (68) ended a mile ahead at 11-under. Ludvig Aberg (69) was second, four shots behind at 7-under, while Tommy Fleetwood (69), Max Homa (73) and Collin Morikawa (74) were tied for third at 4-under.
