Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle announced on Monday that a comprehensive report detailing the recent events will be completed within the next 60 days. Cheatle emphasized the importance of accountability and promised that necessary changes would be implemented based on the findings of the report.
She mentioned that an internal investigation is currently underway to ensure mission assurance, with a target completion date of 60 days. Additionally, an external investigation and several Office of Inspector General inquiries are also in progress.
